Superior Lamp

As the some companies are looking for new ways to encourage entrepreneurship, Superior Lamp might be thought a good place to 5 look for lessons. It has a rather successful scheme to help people to start their home-based businesses; entrepreneur-ship seems part of the culture; working for yourself commonplace. There is an assumption that if people fail and 46 per cent do so within five years - they will learn from their mistakes and start again. But there is also another case of Superior Lamp practice.

How they involve people. Their advertisement of Careerbuilder is very colorful and nice. And if you would like to apply for this job, they will contact you as soon as possible to tell you more beautiful stories about your future job and to appoint an interview which is usually held on phone. During the interview Superior Lamp representatives would try to do everything to persuade you that the job is just for you and generally the job is perfect. So many people fall for this.

What if you reject the job. If you reject the job at once, they would behave themselves rather aggressive and would become pushy and arrogant. But there were some cases when people agreed and even signed some contract and then in accordance with some circumstance they wanted to quit. Then Superior Lamprepresentatives came out in their true colors. First of all, they said they would never return those $400 which were paid in the beginning. And actually this amount is refundable according to their own contract. But they would state that Superior Lamp has opened some trade secrets or that was the sum for the training session which has never taken place. That is why you have to be very careful with the companies of this type and to check all the information about them first not to get into trouble.

Menards, Lowe’s and Home Depot

When you need to make some renovations at your place, you have to choose among many home improvement companies. Before-purchase research is a very wise thing to do. At your option we present three companies: Menards, Lowe’s and Home Depot. This is about the things you should not buy there or the services you should better avoid. In such a way you will be able to choose the lesser of two evils and to have some picture of what you have to expect.

Menards. One of the most popular troubles with items bought in Menards is that they do not have serial numbers on them. It means that if something goes wrong with your appliance, or it appears to be broken or having some manufacturing defect, you would not be able to exchange it or to get money refund for that item. They would say that the item was purchased anywhere but Menards. Let alone saying about their run-arounds and poor customer service which they make justified because of “already low prices”.

Lowe’s. The worst thing about Lowe’s is the staff of their supplying companies, the installers they send to your house. They can be inapt and absolutely inexperienced and having no notion what and how to do. Besides, their customer service representatives can keep you waiting for hours until you will get some answers concerning the problem you might have with their items.

Home Depot. Here you have to know about their poor system of organization. In case you have some trouble with their products, it will be rather difficult to settle them. It happens at Home Depot because nobody there has real authority to solve problems and to undertake some decisions. And they will keep on giving you run-arounds, wasting your time and will-power. And you can keep on calling in vain their 800-numbers.
