Fortunately, today all the minor things we need for our home we can find in a single store.
Lowes was founded in 1946 by H. Carl Buchan. Originally it was a small hardware store in North Carolina. Today, the company is headquartered in Mooresville, North Carolina. At the present time it is 7th largest home improvement retailer in the US and the second largest retailer worldwide.
Lowesconcentrates on selling not only hardware, appliances and hard-to-find building materials but also numerous accessories. The company operates its store location in every state of the United States and Canada. Lowes plans to extend its activity to Mexico in the year 2009. In 2006, the company offered special house plans for people who suffered from the hurricanes.
Each of us happens to buy broken equipment, an overdue product or something of the kind. And it is no problem if we go back to the store and get a refund or the purchase is replaced. And lucky you are if the company does replace the product quietly and properly. In some cases the process takes you so much time and effort that finally it loses its value. And that is the case with Lowes. First, you go back to the shop, than they will send you to the main office where you have to stand in a line the whole day till it is your turn. But before, at the store, the assistants treat you as rude as if you have broken something they have bought.
Some customers accuse the management of the company for employing inexperienced and personnel.
What about threatening? People fail to pay the debt for like a week or even less, and the company starts calling and threatening the person. It is not the method of the 21 century.
As a matter of fact, the quality of the merchandise is not that bad. The stores hold an ample stock of various goods. The company offers useful in-house services. But the customer care spoils the image of the company. It is like a fly in the ointment.

In contrast with the past, we have to admit that insurance is an essential part of our everyday life. Some people understand that they need insurance to live more secure, some do not but the government makes them to insure their vehicles, houses, and so much more. And as we all need insurance, there are a lot of businesses that provides this kind of arrangement at the present time. And people should be very careful while choosing an insurance company and choose the right, respected and approved one. There are insurance agencies that are very difficult to deal with and companies that are just what you need. Geico is one of the best know insurance companies and maybe it deserves your attention.
About the company. Geico is an acronym that stands for Government Employees Insurance Company. It was founded in 1963 originally as a company that provided auto insurance directly to federal government employees. The company provides different kinds of auto insurance policies and work under its main slogan that looks like: “Fifteen minutes could save you fifteen percent or more on car insurance.” The company issues millions of policies every year and provides coverage for different vehicles like motor cars, trucks, motorcycles and other motor vehicles. Geico offers its services in all states of the United States of America but Massachusetts. The company usually deals directly with people over the phone and the Internet saving money on not employing insurance agents. But this marketing model of Geico irritates a lot of consumers and they complain about the poor, unprofessional and incompetent service.
Complaints against the company. But still even against a company with such a wonderful portfolio and references there were some complaints filed. People cannot stand that sometimes the company does not pay the coverage. The insurers consider that in some cases they can state that according to their investigation they cannot pay off the coverage because they are not dead sure that the insured person really suffered according to the conditions of the insurance policy. And this is pretty sure that in many cases they are wrong. That is why so many customers of Geico still stay unsatisfied and complain about the actions and business practices of the company. But still Geico is and remains one of the leading insurance companies in the United States.
